A Champion Visit At Tumble Tots

Chipping Norton Tumble Tots received an Olympic-class visitor this week, when former champion hurdler Sally Gunnell dropped in to play.

Sally was joining the organisation’s Eat Fit, Keep Fit campaign, which aims to encourage parents to cook healthy food for their children.

Tumble Tots – which provides physical activities for young children – has produced a recipe book, with the input of well-known children’s food author Annabel Karmel. The book provides healthy recipes that parents can make with their children.

Sally, whose three children have all attended Tumble Tots, said, “Doing things with your children is always positive. Involving them in preparing and cooking a meal is such a great way to help improve their diet and enjoyment of food.”

The Chippy Tumble Tots, run by Robyn Bissett, had great fun playing with Sally at the football club on Walterbush Road, as our picture shows!
