Seasonal Snow Hits Town

imageYou can tell it must be approaching Christmas when Sainsbury’s starts playing seasonal muzak (rather loudly) in store and the market today is full of wrapping paper and cards – although, in all fairness, the supermarkets have been full of festive fare since about October.

And this morning, the Christmas feeling was enhanced by a light dusting of snow across town – enough to make this web editor’s garden look rather lovely, despite the cold killing off a tiny orange tree cutting (see photo).

It’s not quite enough snow to dust the sledge off just yet, but one thing’s for sure – winter has definitely arrived in West Oxfordshire.
