The WOBAs – West Oxfordshire Business Awards – are now in their fourth year, and inviting entries for the 2014 awards.
There are several categories, including the Large Business Awards, sponsored by Chipping Norton-based CETA, and the Social Media Award, sponsored by another Chippy firm, mark-making* – who won the award last year.
There are also the Blenheim Palace Rural Business Award and the Heythrop Park Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Award amongst others. This year, there is also a new award to reward the many people in West Oxfordshire who are home-workers – a Micro Business Award.
Chippy has a good record at WOBA. In 2013, as well as the success of mark-making*, CETA won the West Oxfordshire Business of the Year award, and Chippy Lido won the Green Business award.
If you’re a Chippy-based business, you can enter WOBA 2014 via the website. The closing date for entries is Friday 29 November 2013, with the award winners being revealed at an event on 4 February 2014.
