Aldi planning application submitted

aldiFollowing our story in the November issue of Chipping Norton News that Aldi were “likely” to press ahead with a planning proposal for a new store in Chippy, the company has now submitted a full planning application to West Oxfordshire District Council.

The application for a store on the former Highways Depot next to the Cromwell Park business park on Banbury Road was submitted in the last week, and is for the erection of a foodstore with associated access, parking and landscaping.

Details of the application can be found on the WODC website, application number 13/1547/P/FP.
