What’s your favourite place in Chippy?

Chippy: full of history, but which is your favourite bit?

Chippy: full of history, but which is your favourite bit?

As Chipping Norton Museum gears up for the new season, which starts next month, we’d like to build a picture of what about CHippy’s history makes it a good place to live today.

So this week, we’re asking: what is your favourite historical place in Chippy?

We’re not talking about a specific business or shop – but about a building, a part of the landscape, a part of the town’s history that makes it a special place to live.

There are some suggestions in our poll, below, but we’ve added a space for you to add your own idea. These will be looked at in a future post, setting out why our town is worth a visit, what about its past we like, and why we live here.

And don’t worry, anyone with negative views: in the near future, we’ll look at the things you’d like to change about the town, too…
