Chippy News talks to BBC Oxford

newlogo1.jpgYesterday lunchtime, Keith Ruddle from the Chipping Norton News spent an hour talking to Kat Orman on BBC Radio Oxford.

Together with Chippy author and former reporter Jenny Selby-Green, Keith discussed the future of Chippy, including housing, supermarkets, and the possible future need for a new school. They also talked about the Budget, which was announced yesterday, and its impact on the town.

The good bits about living in Chippy, and its shops and markets, were also mentioned, in a broad conversation with Kat, who is also a Chippy resident.

The discussion was part of BBC Radio Oxford’s Big Tour of our town, which has been taking place over the past week, and will culminate in Malcolm Boyden’s show taking place live from Jaffe & Neale in Chippy tomorrow (Friday 21 March), between 10am and 1pm.

If you missed Kat Orman’s show yesterday, you can listen again here.
