Labour win Chippy Town Council seat

MWheadshouldersLabour’s Mark Walker has won the election for Chipping Norton Town Council’s vacant seat, West Oxfordshire District Council has just announced.

The votes were as follows:

James Kitcher (Conservative): 798

Mark Walker (Labour): 922

James Stanley (UKIP): 300

Turnout was 43.61% and there were 16 rejected ballot papers.
