Celebs come to play golf in Chippy

Unknown25 June saw a pitch-full of sportsmen turn up for the Cotswold Club‘s Celebrity Golf Day and gala dinner.

Spotted at the club, at the top of London Road, were cricketers Gladstone Small, Mark Ramprakash, Robert Key, and Ed Giddins, clay-shooting champ George Digweed MBE, and former jockey John Francome.

Unknown-1The Celebrity Golf Day was held to raise money for the charity Foundation of Goodness, and raised £6,000.

Around 150 guests attended the event, which was held at the club’s new marquee. There was a shotgun start, followed by a gala dinner with auction and a Q&A session with the celebrities.
