Witnesses wanted after man assaulted on Churchill Road

A man was assaulted on Churchill Road in Chipping Norton just after midnight last night, leaving him requiring hospital treatment.

Thames Valley Police said the man, aged 24, received a cut to his head, possibly from a sharp object. It is believed the attacker got into a car after the assault and drove off.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Steve Raffield said,

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault, or who has any information on the incident. If you have any information, please contact us immediately on 101.”
