Attempted burglaries and thefts reported in Chippy

A series of attempted burglaries and thefts recently took place in two neighbouring roads in Chippy.

In the early hours of Tuesday 1 July, there was an attempted burglary at a house in Park Road, two burglaries in unsecured garages in Park Road, two thefts from cars in Marlborough Road, and a third theft from a car in Park Road.

Thames Valley Police is asking anyone with information about these incidents to contact PC Craig Vaughan at Witney Police Station on the non-emergency 101 number.

In light of these incidents, we’d remind readers to ensure their property – such as garages and cars – are kept locked overnight, and any visible valuables (such as sat navs, loose cash and mobile phones) removed.
