Chippy football ground debacle features on TV & radio – Monday

Many people will already know that the BBC’s long-running investigative documentary programme, Panorama, has been researching the activities of Minotaur Clubs Partnership, the Chesterfield-based company that has been involved with football clubs up and down the country.

Final filming has been taking place this week, including attempts to doorstep the man at the heart of the issue. Both Panorama and BBC Radio Oxford will be covering the story on Monday 3rd Dec.

Ripped Off? Join the Club

Listen to David Prever’s Radio Oxford breakfast show on 95.2FM from 7am, then Kat Orman will take the story on into her show, starting at 10am.

UPDATE: former mayor Mike Tysoe was to have been in the studio with Kat, but the BBC have now decided not to go ahead with that interview.

Later on, BBC South Today will cover the story at 6.30pm before the main event, Panorama at 8.30pm, with their report “Ripped Off? Join the Club”.

The programme summary says: “Panorama investigates a businessman targeting sports and social clubs with offers of financial help that can end up costing them everything.”
